Story Contest — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. This is a skill-based contest; winners are selected on merit based on the judging criteria below, not by chance.

1. Sponsor

Refills (refills.com), the "Sponsor." 1401 Pennsylvania Ave, Suite 105, Wilmington, DE 19806.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. Eligibility is not tied to any Refills purchase.

3. Entry period

The contest opens on September 10, 2026 and all entries must be received by Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

4. How to enter

Submit your story through the official entry form link posted on the Reddit post, also pinned in the comments. Limit one entry per person. Before/after photos are optional. Entries must be truthful and reflect the entrant's genuine personal experience. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules.

5. Judging

Eligible entries are judged by a panel of Sponsor representatives and scored on the following criteria:

• Originality and uniqueness of the experience shared — up to 40 points
• Relevance to the contest theme — up to 30 points
• Storytelling, clarity, and how compelling the entry is — up to 30 points

The entries with the highest total scores are selected as winners. Tie-break: in the event of a tie, the tied entry with the higher Originality score wins; if still tied, a designated Sponsor judge will make the final determination. Sponsor reserves the right to verify any submission and to disqualify entries that are false, misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise non-compliant with these Rules.

6. Prizes

• Grand prize: a $900 discount code toward future eligible Refills purchases, applied as $300 per month for three (3) months.
• 2nd place: a $600 discount code toward future eligible Refills purchases, applied as $300 per month for two (2) months.
• 3rd place: a $300 discount code toward a future eligible Refills purchase.
• All eligible entrants: a one-time discount code for ten percent (10%) off a future Refills purchase.

Prizes are awarded as discount codes and remain subject to provider approval and medical eligibility. If a winner is not eligible for treatment at the time of redemption, an equivalent-value discount code toward another eligible Refills product or service may be provided. All prize discount codes must be redeemed within one (1) year of issuance; any unused portion expires at the end of the redemption period. Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not free prescription medication awarded as a raffle item.

7. Right of publicity / release

By entering, you grant Sponsor permission to use your story, first name, likeness, and any photos you submit in its marketing (website, email, advertising, and social media), without additional compensation. Entrants who receive a prize or are featured have received something of value, and any such use will include appropriate disclosure.

8. Information collected

We collect your name, email, optional phone number and Reddit username, your story, time as a Refills customer, and optional before/after weight and photos. This information is used to administer the contest and, with your consent, for Refills marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Winner notification

Winners will be contacted by email and must respond within five (5) days to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

10. Limitation of liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. General

The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
